Joe Pye Weed is a North American native that traditionally makes its home in moist soils and marshy settings. It's also a gorgeous and fragrant wildflower, with showy mauve blooms that attract and feed loads of butterflies each season. With clustered, flattened flowers made up of multiple small florets, Joe Pye Weed also makes an attractive addition to the winter garden, after seed heads form.
