(2-6" tall x 12-24" wide) Herald spring with the beauty of our Carefree Creeping Phlox Collection. In early spring, the dense mats of fine-textured bright green foliage burst into glorious bloom, with the foliage barely visible beneath the blanket of star-shaped flowers. Blooming for several weeks each spring, just when we're shaking off our winter coats, Creeping Phlox are carefree, hardy groundcovers that spread without becoming invasive. They're also an important early source of nectar for pollinators.
Perfect for complementing taller perennials such as Bearded Iris, Siberian Iris, or Garden Phlox, and a lovely pairing with taller spring-blooming bulbs such as Daffodils and Tulips. Deer resistant and drought tolerant once mature. Hardy in zones 2-9. The Carefree Creeping Phlox Collection of 4 plants (one of each) is roughly* 4' x 4' when planted together. The larger collection of 12 plants (3 of each) is roughly* 8' x 5' if planted together. *Creeping Phlox will will naturalize and spread over time.
The Carefree Creeping Phlox Collection includes 4 plants (1 of each) or 12 plants (3 of each):
'Snowflake' Creeping Phlox
'Emerald Blue' Creeping Phlox
Candy Stripe Creeping Phlox
'Amazing Grace' Creeping Phlox
*Plants are subject to change due to availability. If we make substitutions, we feature plants with similar attributes suitable to the garden/collection design.
