(48-60" tall x 12-24” wide) ‘Yellow King Humbert’ Canna Lily has been a garden favorite for over 100 years. The sunny bicolor blooms dazzle during the heat of summer when many other plants slow down. Deadhead spent blooms to keep plants blooming all summer long. Bold, apple-green foliage stands upright, adding a striking architectural accent to patio pots and garden plantings. Cannas are striking when planted in masses but work equally well as accents. Give plants plenty of sunshine and a rich, moist soil that drains easily. Plants are winter hardy in zones 7-10 where they can be grown as perennials. In colder regions, move containers indoors, or dig Canna bulbs before the first frost, and store indoors for winter. Cannas are easy to grow and deer resistant.
